Inventory-Portal Ltd are specialists in Inventory Provider Training for candidates of all backgrounds and experience. Our New Entrant or beginners Course is for those candidates with no prior property agency or surveying experience. You can complete this Course and start your new career as an Residential Property Inventory Clerk in as little as 4 weeks. Our 1-Day Experienced Candidate Inventory training Course is designed for Domestic Energy Assessors (DEAs) and Home Inspectors (HIs) as well as experienced estate agents, letting agents and surveyors. Our training covers the academic knowledge and practical skills required to produce top quality, Inventory Reports.
Both routes have 30 minute, multiple-choice exams, to test the candidate's knowledge and understanding. After the 1-day Inventory Training Course there are additional follow up training sessions available with eTech Ltd on the PDA handheld computer devices and SMART Inventory software system. This software and reporting style is shown during the 1-Day Course, but hands-on training with the PDAs and software is now supplied later by e-Tech Ltd at their head office in Redditch, West Midlands. This is made available as attended sessions or for convenience, by remote tutorials and webinars. These follow-up sessions are arranged by the candidate direct with e-Tech Ltd. Experienced candidates such as DEAs and Agents can now get all the relevant academic training to become an Inventory Clerk in a 1-Day intensive Inventory Clerk Training Course with less disruption to their existing business compared with coming away for 2 days or more. They can later obtain relevant training on whichever software system they choose for their inventory report production at a more convenient time. Experienced Inventory Clerks wishing to Qualify for LIS Membership may also attend the 1-Day Course as a refresher on inventory clerk professional practise, legislation and the TDS, inspection and defect reporting; check-in and check-out processes and they also will sit our our multi-choice examination. Those candidates passing our Inventory Clerk Training Course and choosing to enrol into the Licensed Inventory Scheme (see the Licensed Inventory Scheme page) can offer their Professional Inventory Services as "Accredited Members" of the Licensed Inventory Scheme, using our LIS logo as their Quality brand mark.
