Licensed Inventory Scheme (LIS) is a voluntary, Licensing and Quality Management system for the training and ongoing Audit and Quality Management of our Licensed inventory provider Members.

Inventory-portal Ltd was created in 2009 by Steve Bull, MRICS, a Chartered Surveyor with over 20 years experience in UK estate agency and residential surveying businesses.
Steve was until recently, Operations Director of property-careers.com Ltd a bespoke training and new product development unit within Lending Solutions PLC, a national property services business that includes the well known Brands of Your-Move and Reeds Rains estate agents and e.surv, Chartered Surveyors.
Steve has a long and successful background in Residential Estate Agency, Building and Valuation surveying, and as a Regional Manager for e.surv Chartered Surveyors, the UK’s largest Panel Managers of Residential Survey and Valuation Services. Steve was responsible for the Service delivery and Quality Management of a large team of employed and consultant Surveyors across the South East of England.
In 2005, Steve co-developed home inspectors.co.uk Ltd and property-careers Ltd, successfully delivering Professional Training to over 300 new-entrant Home Inspectors and 2,700 Domestic Energy Assessors.
In 2007 he also set up the-energy-portal, a national Panel consultancy to supply Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) to Home Information Pack Providers, estate agents and Landlords, until this was moved into the mainstream survey business in 2009.
