A secluded hideaway cottage for 2, close to the centre of Aldeburgh, only 2-3 minutes stroll to the Beach and High Street restaurants. Short-breaks also available all year.
Garden Cottage is a perfect getaway for two. The Cottage was converted in 2008 from part of the formaer Uplands Hotel and now offers a cosy, holiday cottage in hidden-garden setting.
Entrance Hall
Bedroom: 5' king-size metal bed, bedside tables, a double wardrobe with drawers, and a dressing table with a stool. Front window, overlooking the beautiful gardens.
Shower Room: There's a shower, a hand basin and w.c. shaver point, mirrors and a heated towel rail.
Outside: 1 private car parking space for Garden Cottage. A gravel pathway leads for about 30m to the Cottage door. To the front of the Cottage is a small area with table and chairs. A few steps lead into the mature, communal gardens. These have lawns and flower borders and include a patio area with wrought iron table and chairs. The garden gate leads onto Vitoria Road, 2 minutes walk to the Beach.
The price includes full gas central heating, 100% Cotton bedlinen and fluffy white towels and a welcome tray with wine, local biscuits, tea, coffee & milk to ensure you can sit right down and relax, after your journey.

This modern holiday-home is situated just a 10 minute walk (0.4 mile) from the Beach and the centre of the seaside town of Aldeburgh on the Suffolk Coast.
It’s ideal for families or two-couple groups looking for a convenient base for a holiday or short-break exploring the local area. It has plenty of space to store bikes, golf clubs or bird-watching equipment indoors in the large Games Room. Aldeburgh and Thorpeness both have renowned golf courses. RSPM Minsmere and Dunwich Heath reserves are about 4-5 miles.
Ground floor: Hallway with Cloakroom: w.c and washbasin.
Living/Dining room: Two leather sofas, a matching tub chair, a coffee table and rug, 32” HD TV with a FreeSat HD and a DVD player. The dining area has a modern wooden table and six chairs. Sideboard with games and books, DVDs and CDs. CD player, DAB radio and Bose iPod dock. Glazed patio doors lead out to a large enclosed patio garden.
Kitchen: This is compact but well fitted with electric oven and hob, fridge-freezer, microwave and a slimline dishwasher. You’ll also find a washing machine in the games room. A large window looks out to the pretty patio back garden.
First floor: Landing
Games room/utility room: With 4' table football game, a washing machine, and doors to the front drive and to the back garden. This is an ideal space to store your items for the beach, or bicycles, golf clubs and other sporting equipment.
Bedroom 1: A king bedroom with bedside tables, a large built-in wardrobe, and a dressing table with drawers.
Bedroom 2: A double bedroom with bedside tables and a dressing table with drawers. Built in wardrobe on the landing just outside the bedroom door.
Bedroom 3: A single bedroom with a bedside table, dressing table and a large built-in wardrobe.
Bathroom: Bath and separate shower cubicle, WC. and wash basin.
Outside: At the front there is off road parking for two cars. At the rear is a large sunny patio garden. Large oak table and 6 chairs with a parasol and a BBQ. Beyond the garden are the Poplar trees that give the house it’s name.
